I’ve always been a writer. I filled notebooks with stories about my friends living on a spaceship, then created a zine or two, and finally found myself double majoring in English and Journalism at the University of Washington. I still make my living working as a reporter, and in my spare time I—what else?—write. Specifically, I love reading and writing Young Adult lit.

I live with my husband (known on this blog as Dr. H) in Washington, D.C. where we settle arguments with epic Mario Kart battles. Totally unrelated: I hate Waluigi.
